How to redirect HTTP to HTTPS on Cpanel

The below code when added to an .htaccess file will automatically redirect any traffic destined for http to https

RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off RewriteRule (.*) https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R,L]
